A Sketchblog of doodles, scribbles and whatever i come up with at 3 in the morning.

aww look at my little droid thingie. haha. Made in my Computer Graphics class where we use Strata 3D. it’s like Maya, but simpler in terms of creating things, at least in my experience. i’m not a 3D person, not gonna pursue it in the future in the professional field, (i even struggle in ceramics lol), but i have fun along the way.

Second homework using pastel. To choose a piece of artwork by Janet Fish and copy. Not gonna lie i choose the most simple piece and kinda BS’d this assignment because i was so eager to focus on my InDesign project. Probably spent a total of 7 or so hours. Now i feel bad for not being more dedicated :( Top is my copy. Bottom is the original artwork: Peaches by Janet Fish

Started to try my hand at animation and stuff and how better to understand the process then by creating a real simple .gif with on of my pictures? lol Now that i have a better knowledge on how these animation types work i’ll hopefully be experimenting with some actual animating in the near future! :D

For homework we had to do a still life in pastel. I had fun playing around with the medium since i never really used pastel before and i think the image came out decent :) the potpourri was a pain though, took FOREVER. 3 days in fact and ONLY the potpourri. Lots of layering and lots of dust. I took some progressive pics to how i tackled the subject.
